Paula Purdy joins Together

Paula Purdy has taken up her new position of key accounts manager at specialist lender Together.

In her new role, Purdy (pictured) will be strengthening Together’s relationships with brokers, using her knowledge of the market to expand the distribution of its residential, commercial, buy-to-let and bridging finance.

She said: “Together is a well-respected lender, which has always been my strongest competition wherever I’ve worked previously. I’m really impressed with its ‘can-do’ attitude and its enthusiasm for funding cases when other lenders often can’t.

“I’ve been working in the intermediary market for three decades, so I have a wealth of experience and knowledge.  I’m always looking to add value for the brokers I support, by helping them if they have an issue with a case or need to think outside the box. That’s why I think I’ll be a really good match for Together and am proud to be part of the team.”

Purdy started her career working as a mortgage adviser, underwriter and a sales manager for a mainstream bank before joining working for high street and specialist lenders.

She joins Together from London-based lender Octopus Property where she was a business development manager covering the North of England. Previously, she had been involved in launching Shawbrook Bank, initially working on the commercial side of the business before moving to a role as head of sales for residential mortgages.

Nick Jones, head of specialist distribution at Together, added: “Paula’s great reputation in the industry precedes her and her experience of both residential and commercial finance speaks for itself. We’re really excited to welcome her to our team and are going to enjoy working alongside her as we extend the distribution of our specialist products.”
