Paradigm expands GI referral panel

Published on

Paradigm Protect has added a further commercial insurer, CDC, to its panel of general insurance referral partners.

CDC is a specialist brokerage which uses the open market to source the best deals available for clients with a guarantee of no commission loaded premiums. It specialises in complex/non-standard residential cases, commercial properties, single buy-to-let, and multiple/portfolio buy-to-let insurance.

CDC has a dedicated commercial insurance division offering clients a bespoke commercial and professional indemnity service.

Mike Allison, Paradigm’s head of protection, said: “At a time when there is a huge amount of discussion around landlord charges in the buy-to-let space, we thought it would be a great time to introduce this referral service for specialist and non- specialist landlords alike.

“Like many in the market, a lot of landlords will renew their landlord’s insurance without re-evaluating price and quality of cover at renewal. Many will see this as a real chore but Paradigm has developed a simple process to provide them with access to a specialist, with advisers able to earn revenue for literally the touch of a button on our website. This further enhances our proposition in the market and adds to the already comprehensive range of services we offer to Paradigm members.”

“We are delighted to be working with one of the fastest growing DA distributors in the UK,” added Eddie Curran, sales director at CDC.

“We know Paradigm write a tremendous amount of buy-to-let business and see our service as an ideal fit. Many of Paradigm’s wealth firms will also operate in the SME sector and we can provide real value to those clients also. As an aside, we know Paradigm as a quality DA distributor and we may well also be able to help with Professional Indemnity Insurance for its members given our extensive market contacts.”
