Paradigm Consulting partners with Xpress Mortgages

Paradigm Consulting, the providers of support services to advisory firms, has announced a new partnership with directly authorised mortgage brokerage firm, Xpress Mortgages.

Based in Surrey, Xpress Mortgages, will now be utilising Paradigm Consulting’s range of bespoke compliance and consultancy support which covers: compliance audits – annual and focused; reviews of processes, functions, policies, and documentation; support on training staff, training and competence, and staff assessments.

Xpress Mortgages was established by Rachel Lummis in 2006, and is based in Byfleet village in Surrey, offering whole of market services covering a full range of mortgage clients including first-time buyers, home-movers, buy-to-let landlords and investors, clients with specialist lending needs, and the provision of mortgage protection.
Paradigm’s team of consultants offer bespoke consultancy support and guidance on the Consumer Duty, tailored to individual firms’ requirements and are adept at preparing and assisting firms with regulatory change.

Christine Newell, mortgages technical director at Paradigm, said: “In today’s world of regulatory change, it is almost impossible for firms to navigate the myriad of changes and requests for data from the FCA without external support. We are delighted that Rachel has chosen Paradigm to support Xpress Mortgages through these changes and we look forward to a closer working relationship with Rachel and her team.”

Lummis commented: “We are delighted to have chosen Paradigm for our compliance support. As a directly authorised firm we needed to appoint a firm that understands the needs and requirements of a small but busy mortgage brokerage. Having had a relationship for many years with Paradigm via their mortgage distribution proposition, and recently attending their workshops and training covering Consumer Duty, we knew Paradigm were the right fit for Xpress.

“Paradigm offer the support we need for our compliance, auditing, and training, working closely with us to ensure we are delivering the best possible customer outcomes.”

Carmen Green, senior mortgage & protection consultant at Xpress Mortgages, added: “Paradigm’s services have always had the personal touch which is extremely important to us at Xpress. We are all about giving that bespoke service and really care about what we do; this is the feeling we get when we work with Paradigm – they go above and beyond. We are delighted to be supported by a firm who match our values and objectives to provide our clients with the best possible outcome.”
