Paradigm added to Fleet Mortgages’ panel

Fleet Mortgages has added Paradigm Mortgage Services to its distribution panel.

Member firms of Paradigm will now be able to access Fleet Mortgages’ product range, which includes mainstream buy-to-let residential mortgages as well as products which cater for those investing through limited company vehicles and the purchase or remortgage of houses in multiple occupation (HMO).

In February, following feedback from its distributor panel, Fleet Mortgages announced the launch of new lifetime tracker products and a number of price cuts across its range.

Paradigm becomes the eighth firm currently on Fleet Mortgages’ distributor panel. The lender will open up its distribution further in the coming weeks with a number of new distributors lined up to join the panel. Fleet Mortgages launched at the end of 2014 and lends exclusively through the intermediary sector.

Bob Young, chief executive officer of Fleet Mortgages, said: “We are very pleased to announce the addition of Paradigm Mortgage Services to our distribution panel as this continues our commitment to opening up the Fleet Mortgages’ product range to a growing number of advisers.

“What appeals to us particularly about Paradigm is its ongoing focus on quality and it has been leading the market in developing a structure that rewards delivery of the best quality business to lenders and providers It has considerable influence amongst its member firms who conduct large volumes of business in the buy-to-let sector and are looking for a specialist player that knows the market, provides certainty and delivers what it says it’s going to.

“All the team at Fleet Mortgages are looking forward to dealing with Paradigm members and we are certain they will find a lender committed to both the buy-to-let market itself and supporting their businesses within it.”

John Coffield, head of Paradigm Mortgage Services, added: “Our members conduct a considerable and growing amount of buy-to-let business so it’s absolutely vital they have access to as wide a range of lenders and products as possible. The launch of Fleet Mortgages, in particular its focus on specialist buy-to-let such as the limited company and HMO sectors, offers another key product offering for advisers and their clients, and means they are able to deal with a highly experienced team who know this market inside-out.

“Fleet Mortgages has certainly been impressed by the quality of the business written by our members and, as a lender which wants to ensure it secures the highest-quality business, we feel sure our firms and advisers will not disappoint. We will be working closely with member firms and Fleet Mortgages to develop this relationship and to ensure it is a profitable one for all, as this sector continues to develop.”
