Pair of new appointments for Ageas Protect

Ageas Protect has made two key appointments to its senior management team.

Scott Reid has joined the protection provider as head of pricing and reinsurance, and Richard Halley has joins as partnership development manager.

Reid has actuarial and reinsurance experience from his time at Aon Benfield, Scor, Gen Re, and Scottish Widows.

Halley joins Ageas Protect from Bupa where he held the role of commercial manager for partnerships and was responsible for acquiring new and developing partnerships.

He has over 20 years experience in sales and sales management roles with PMI insurers, He will work with Mark Anders, Ageas Protect’s head of sales, to support the overall sales strategy.

Darren Spriggs, acting managing director of Ageas Protect, said: “These new appointments are a significant demonstration of the continued success of Ageas Protect and its commitment to further develop our innovative business.
