Optimus to drive new OpenMoney online advice service

Conveyancing panel manager, Optimus, has announced that OpenMoney has signed a contract to integrate Optimus’ panel management services into its new homebuying service.

Home by OpenMoney is a new online homebuying advice service that will provide customers with access to personalised advice on mortgages, solicitors, insurances, wills and surveys for first-time buyers.

As part of the contract, Optimus will provide panel management services to deliver and manage a Home Buyers and Building Surveys service, where Home by OpenMoney customers will be able to access a range of professional surveys to assess the condition of a property, prior to purchase.

Optimus – which is part of Landmark Information Group – will support the quotation process, delivering quotations from Optimus’ professional community.

Karina Hutchins, head of Home by OpenMoney said: “We are delighted to announce that we have selected Optimus as our preferred panel management service, where they will support us in providing a fast and easy way for our customers to order Home Buyers and Building Surveys. All quotations will be a fixed price and our customers will be able to manage their order through our online platform, which will be launching soon.”

Alan Young, managing director at Optimus, added: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Open-Money.co.uk so its customers can access high quality Home Buyer and Building Surveys via our approved panel surveying partners. This will help make sure homebuyers using the Open-Money.co.uk service can investigate the condition of a property, before a purchase completes, and have a good insight into any aspects of the home that may need work either now or in the future.”
