Optimum Finance has appointed Mike Jones as a senior relationship manager (RM) as the Bristol-based invoice finance provider continues to consolidate new leads, drive client relations and sustain new business growth.

A former semi-professional sportsman, and with a Twickenham Cup Final to his name, Jones (pictured) has almost 25 years’ experience in invoice financing and lending to growing businesses. He has worked for some of the biggest names across multiple sectors and in various roles, including underwriting and risk management, and has particular knowledge of the construction industry.

He said: “Optimum’s mission requires a personal touch, finding a solution that gives each business the support, expertise and innovation that in turn delivers the best financial outcome.

“The enthusiasm of the team is immediately apparent and they are bringing this enthusiasm into their interactions with clients both new and old. I’m delighted to join the company and help them to help more SMEs to grow.”

Claire Lewis, COO of Optimum Finance, added: “Mike is well known and well respected in our industry. We are thrilled to have him join our team as we continue to focus on delivering great service to our growing portfolio of valued clients.”

Ant Persse, CEO of Optimum Finance, says Mike’s connections and ability to create relationships with clients and introducers make him a valuable asset: “Mike’s background in teams of all natures make him a unique talent. Being relatable, and demonstrating both lived and financial experience, makes him a trusted source for our fantastic clients.”
