Openwork adds Post Office for Intermediaries to panel

Openwork has expanded its mortgage lender panel with the addition of Post Office for Intermediaries.

Launched in 2014 as partnership between Post Office Money and Bank of Ireland UK, Post Office for Intermediaries specialises in residential and buy-to-let mortgages.

The Post Office Family Link and the Post Office Retirement Link products are both now available to Openwork advisers.

Paul Shearman, mortgage, protection and general insurance proposition director at Openwork, said: “Openwork enjoys a strong existing relationship with Bank of Ireland so the development of the Post Office offering that aims to help first-time buyers get onto the housing ladder, as well as supporting customers looking to borrow into later life, is one that will be beneficial for our advisers.”

Bank of Ireland UK and Post Office announced last month that they are widening the distribution footprint for Post Office for Intermediaries.
