Openwork is improving its online marketing support system with a new service that will allow advisers to send personalised, pre-approved email templates to selected clients and track open rates.

Called Send & Track, the new service – offered free of charge to many of Openwork’s firms – allows advisers to personalise professionally designed emails, including three templates created in partnership with Technical Connection which focus on ensuring investment clients have adequate protection cover.

The templates, accessible via Openwork’s online marketing resource Smart Hub, cover a range of areas and will be expanded over time to enable advisers to run targeted email campaigns on specific topics.

Other materials advisers can access and personalise via Smart Hub now include quarterly newsletters, investor updates, budget-related brochures and tax tables, campaign letters, leaflets and websites. The service also provides a logo builder for firms looking for a cost-effective way to establish a brand.

Philip Martin, marketing director at Openwork, said: “We are always looking to make our advisers’ lives easier and this latest addition to Smart Hub offers them a quick, easy and low-cost way to help service their clients or market to new ones.

“Smart Hub has become an invaluable online resource since launch in December 2011 and we will continue to add new content and functionality to it as part of our ongoing efforts to assist our advisers in providing the best possible service to their clients.”
