ONP Solicitors appointed exclusively for the Coventry’s limited company BTL remortgage service

Published on

Coventry Building Society has appointed ONP Solicitors as the exclusive legal services provider in England and Wales for its newly launched fees-assisted buy-to-let limited company remortgage proposition.

The strategic partnership, which began with a soft launch in March and was rolled out fully in April, supports Coventry’s first remortgage product specifically designed for limited company landlords.

ONP was selected on the strength of its reputation for service quality, market credibility and longstanding relationships in the intermediary sector.

DEDICATED TEAM

The legal services are being delivered by a dedicated team at ONP led by Chris Horwood and Sarah Lockwood.

Shelley Rodway, senior relationship manager – lending at Coventry Building Society, said: “At Coventry Building Society, we’re committed to delivering great outcomes for our broker partners and their clients, and that starts with choosing the right legal partner.

“ONP’s reputation for service quality, their experience in the limited company buy-to-let space, and their collaborative approach made them a natural fit for this proposition.

“We’ve been impressed by how smoothly the onboarding has gone and by the positive feedback we’re already seeing from the broker community.”

DIGITAL INNOVATION

Craig Underwood (pictured), group chief operating officer at Movera, the parent company of ONP Solicitors, added: “We are delighted to be working with Coventry Building Society on this important proposition.

“Our service combines digital innovation with the personal expertise of our case managers, and the early response from brokers has been fantastic.

“With our first completion achieved within just 18 days of offer – particularly impressive given the complexities of limited company buy-to-let cases – this partnership is already delivering results.”

SHARED FOCUS

The onboarding process included integration with the Lender Exchange platform and was underpinned by close collaboration between the two organisations. Coventry’s decision to work with ONP reflects a shared focus on improving the remortgage experience for limited company landlords.

In addition to this new role, ONP has also been added to Coventry Building Society’s main Fees Assisted Remortgage Panel, further extending the firm’s involvement in the lender’s remortgage proposition.
