OneFamily to hold free virtual late life masterclass

David Burrowes, chairman of the Equity Release Council, is to participate in a free virtual masterclass and Q&A session held by OneFamily.

The later life lender’s masterclass will be part of a series of 30-minute webinars for advisers it will be running from Monday 23 November for two weeks.

The short sessions will cover key skills such as social media marketing and generating leads alongside masterclasses on troubleshooting legal issues and identifying vulnerable customers from Peter Barton, the head of equity release at Ashford.

OneFamily will also be launching its Knowledge Hub and providing updates on current products.

Chris Brown from OneFamily’s lifetime mortgages team, said: “We are very pleased that David Burrowes and Peter Barton have kindly agreed to support our latest programme of online events for advisers.  I’m sure they’re going to be extremely interesting and valuable sessions.

“The pandemic has meant that we’ve had to think differently about how we reach advisers to support them with their training needs.  We know from our August webinars that advisers found this format to be extremely useful and the feedback we received has helped us in structuring the content of this series.

“Each participant will receive a certificate of learning for their CPD record for each event they attend.”
