OMS reinforces leadership and sales teams with key strategic hires

One Mortgage System (OMS), the technology-led mortgage platform serving intermediaries, has made two senior appointments to support its 2025 growth strategy.

The firm has named Nick Allen as non-executive director and brought in Shey Wade as business development manager to bolster both its board and sales capabilities.

Allen (pictured, left) takes up the board role following a two-year tenure as external consultant to OMS. During that period, he was instrumental in implementing ISO27001, significantly enhancing the platform’s security framework and operational governance. His work has been key in ensuring that OMS meets robust standards across both regulated and unregulated lending.

With more than 25 years of experience in the lending sector, Allen has already made a notable contribution to the firm’s innovation roadmap and is now expected to support its expansion into new markets and technologies.

In a move to meet increasing demand from brokers and other intermediaries, OMS has also strengthened its sales function with the addition of Shey Wade. Previously head of marketing at Just Mortgages, part of Spicerhaart’s financial services division, Wade (pictured, right) brings a background in digital lead generation, customer engagement, and intermediary support.

He will focus on developing relationships with integration partners and helping brokers enhance efficiency and service delivery through the OMS platform.

Dale Jannels, chief executive of OMS, said: “Nick has been instrumental in the development of our originations platform, and we’re delighted to welcome him onto the board as we enter our next growth phase. His insight and experience will be invaluable as we evolve our offering and continue supporting brokers with cutting-edge technology.”

He added: “We’re also thrilled to have Shey on board. His expertise in marketing and broker support, along with his deep understanding of lender and intermediary relationships, will be key in helping us expand our footprint and deliver outstanding service.”
