One Mortgage System (OMS) has embarked upon a new recruitment campaign with the addition of Laura Smith as business relationship manager.

Smith (pictured) has worked within the intermediary mortgage market for over seven years and joins OMS from Knowledge Bank where she held the position of sales and marketing manager. Prior to that, she spent over six years at Fleet Mortgages where she held a number of positions including those of sales executive, senior internal business development manager and latterly as a marketing executive.

In her new role, Smith will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with OMS clients, understanding their needs and providing them with the best possible solutions.

Neal Jannels, OMS managing director, said: “2023 is set to be a huge year for OMS as we have a significant growth strategy in place and ambitious targets that we are determined to hit. Laura’s experience, skillset, drive and determination will play an important role within these plans and she is one of a number of key hires we are in the process of making which will not only better support our ever-growing userbase but also help us to initiate future system enhancements, integrations and optimisations.

Smith added: “OMS is a true pioneer in the mortgage tech space and has developed a CRM and mortgage processing system which delivers real, cost-effective efficiencies to the intermediary market.

“The modern advice process is all about being able to maximise technology to free up time to work with more clients, all while supplying them with the solutions that match their ever-shifting needs. OMS is constantly evolving to deliver such an offering and I’m hugely excited to start engaging with new and existing clients to help them on this journey.”
