Norton Broker Services appoints Vincent Ricks as telephone BDM

Norton Broker Services has expanded its intermediary support team with the appointment of Vincent Ricks as telephone business development manager.

Ricks (pictured), who brings over a decade of experience in property sales, investment and development, will support brokers working on first charge mortgages as well as first and second charge bridging finance.

He will serve as a direct point of contact for case queries, helping intermediaries navigate criteria, progress applications, and deliver lending solutions for complex cases.

Ricks joins from Apex International Property Solutions, where he was sales director advising high net worth clients on below-market-value investments and overseeing developments valued at up to £10 million.

Previous roles include head of sales and marketing at Foot Forward Property Investments and senior property consultant at Keystone Property Group UK, where he spent more than 10 years.

Mel Whiting, head of mortgages and bridging at Norton Broker Services, said Ricks’ appointment reflects a continued commitment to intermediary support.

“Vincent brings valuable experience from the investor and development side of the market, which gives him a great understanding of what brokers and their clients need from a lender. We’re really pleased to welcome him to the Norton Broker Services team as we continue building our support proposition to intermediaries across a range of product areas,” she said.

Ricks said the opportunity to join a growing team at a pivotal moment was a key draw. “I’m excited to be joining Norton Broker Services at a time when the team is expanding and there is increased growth in our services and proposition,” he said. “I’ve worked with investors, landlords, and developers for many years, so I understand the importance of clear and timely communication. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and helping more brokers get deals across the line.”
