TSB Bank has confirmed the appointment, subject to regulatory approval, of Mark Fisher as a non-executive director.

Fisher, currently director of group operations at Lloyds Banking Group, is expected to leave his position on 31 May 2014.

Paul Pester, chief executive officer (CEO) of TSB Bank plc, said: “Mark has been part of the creation of TSB from day one and was instrumental in helping my team and me build the Bank.

“TSB’s chairman, Will Samuel, and I are delighted to welcome Mark to the team as we deliver local banking for Britain and shape TSB’s future.”

TSB is in the process of recruiting other non-executive directors to the TSB Bank plc Board and will announce appointments in due course.
