NLA negotiates special deal with A&L Business Banking

Members of the National Landlords Association (NLA) can now open a new business current account following a specially negotiated deal with The Santander-owned Alliance & Leicester Business Banking.

The deal includes free and unlimited day to day banking, 0.25% gross pa/AER on all credit balances as well as free cash deposits of up to £3,000 each month followed by a specially negotiated rate of 45p per £100 deposited thereafter (the normal rate is 50p per £100 deposited after the initial £3,000 monthly free allowance.)

Free and unlimited day to day banking includes cheques issued and deposited, Direct Debits, Standing Orders and automated transactions. It excludes CHAPS payments, change giving and other non-standard charges.

A charge of £5 per month is applied if less than £1,000 is paid into the account on any given month.

David Salusbury, chairman of the National Landlords Association, said: “Our members tell us accessing better value business banking is important to them and in response we have been working with Alliance & Leicester Business Bank to come up with a market leading deal. We are delighted to be able to offer members this account
