NivoCon returns with focus on AI and broker-lender innovation

Nivo has confirmed the return of NivoCon, its flagship one-day event for the specialist finance community, taking place on Thursday 17 July at Convene, 22 Bishopsgate in London.

Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2023, NivoCon 2025 has been significantly expanded to deliver what organisers describe as a “full day of intelligent debate, real world success stories, and high impact networking”. The event will bring together senior figures from across the lending spectrum to explore the practical application of AI, innovations in packaging, and how broker-lender relationships are evolving in the face of rapid technological change.

Nivo has also announced Richard Davies, chief executive of Allica Bank, as one of this year’s keynote speakers. Davies, who joined Allica in 2020, has overseen its transformation into one of the UK’s fastest-growing SME banks. His career includes senior roles at Revolut, OakNorth, TSB and HSBC, with a focus throughout on the convergence of technology and traditional banking.

NivoCon’s 2025 agenda will include panel sessions and curated conversations aimed at cutting through industry rhetoric to examine what is genuinely working at the coalface. Topics will include smarter workflows, AI integration, and how both brokers and lenders are reducing friction in the lending process. Case studies and success stories will highlight technology adoption across a range of specialist lending sectors.

Matthew Elliott, chief executive at Nivo, said the event is designed to offer a clear alternative to traditional conferences. “NivoCon promises a full day of intelligent debate, real world success stories, and high impact networking. I promise there will be no death by PowerPoint. Just sharp insights, proper conversations, and real talk about the opportunities, and roadblocks, facing brokers and lenders alike. Hopefully, a bit of fun too,” he said.

Elliott added that the company sees its role not only as a provider of AI solutions in lending, but as a key voice shaping the future of the sector. “At Nivo, we’re not just deploying AI in lending, we’re shaping the dialogue around what AI in lending should look like. As a business grounded in specialist finance, we’re stepping forward to lead the industry in an opportunity to celebrate innovation and we want lenders, brokers, and stakeholders to join us in driving meaningful, responsible change across the sector.”

The event is free to attend and open to professionals working in specialist lending. Registration is now open
