New small business boss at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks

Gary Lumby has been appointed as director of small business banking for Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks.

He has been promoted from the position of head of retail for Yorkshire Bank, which has now been filled by Steve Fletcher, formerly head of sales development.

Lumby’s first duty has been to appoint his new head of small business banking, who will manage day-to-day operations. Claire Shields will move up from her role as head of direct banking.
