Rockstead has appointed Steve Haggerty as its new chairman.

He will help to drive the financial services risk advisers and due diligence company’s growth in Europe.

“Steve joined the team last year and following a board re-structure has been appointed as chairman to help strategically build and drive forward our ambitious expansion plans,” said Brian Pitt, CEO at Rockstead.

“We are delighted he has accepted the challenge. His experience and knowledge of risk and asset management strategies will serve us well.”

Haggerty is a former managing director and chairman of HML.

He added: “For too long there has not been enough serious competition in the space in which Rockstead operates. However the business is really starting to gain some traction now and I hope to be able to play a full part in helping Brian and the team accelerate their exciting business plans for expansion within both the U.K and Europe.”
