The Mansfield Building Society has launched two new fixed rate products into its residential product range.

House purchase features:

2.19% fixed rate for 2 years

  • Free valuation
  • Maximum loan size £400,000
  • £199 application fee
  • £300 completion fee

Remortgage features:

2.19% fixed rate for 2 years

  • Free valuation
  • Free legal fees
  • Maximum loan size £400,000
  • £199 application fee
  • £400 completion fee

The Mansfield’s business development manager, Stuart Bryce (pictured), claimed the new mortgages are competitive with market leading products when considering the overall package of rates, fees and service.

He said: “With these latest fixed rate products, we are keen to demonstrate that not only do we meet the service standards our introducers needs, we are also able to provide products which represent great value to customers.

“As well as the benefits of our individual underwriting, free valuations and free legal fees for remortgages, a fixed rate term at 2.19% offers peace of mind about potential rate increases.”
