New name for Hampshire Trust Bank’s mortgage brand

Published on

Hampshire Trust Bank has unveiled Specialist Mortgages as the new name for its commercial mortgages business.

The specialist bank launched into the mortgage sector two years ago and has changed its name to Specialist Mortgages to reflect that the business has evolved to provide a wider range of specialist mortgage solutions including short-term lending, bridging, buy-to-let and HMO, as well as commercial and semi-commercial mortgages.

The direction of the business is unchanged and brokers will still be working with the same team.

Mark Sismey-Durrant, CEO of Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “Specialist Mortgages more accurately reflects what we do and makes it clearer that we provide a full range of specialist mortgage solutions, not just commercial mortgages. We offer far more than the previous name suggests.

“We have strong growth ambitions for our Specialist Mortgages business and will continue to support our broker partners, developing and enhancing our proposition further to help them grow their businesses alongside our own.”
