New MTE / Prospector integration

Published on

Avelo and Mortgage Brain have revealed a new integration between Avelo Trigold’s Prospector system and The Mortgage Trading Exchange (MTE).

The move is designed to complement the existing integration between Avelo Trigold’s Momentum point of sale system and MTE.

The new integration will give Prospector users the choice of submitting mortgage applications electronically via Avelo Trigold’s own E-Trading Centre (ETC) or the MTE platform.

“This is an exciting new development for users of Prospector, providing them for the first time with a unique choice of using either ETC or MTE to seamlessly ‘bridge’ into lenders’ application systems,” said Sophie Hall, head of intermediary at Avelo.

“The great news for intermediaries is that the combined access to lenders from both these systems represents around 90% of the mortgage market.

“Our aim is always to deliver the most seamless experience possible for our clients, helping them maximise efficiency and minimise the re-keying of customer data and this new integration really helps deliver on this.”

Mark Lofthouse, chief executive at Mortgage Brain, said: “This integration means that the vast majority of UK mortgage brokers will now be able to submit mortgage business directly to lenders through MTE.

“We are pleased to be working in partnership with Avelo Trigold on this project and delivering a solution for the good of the industry as a whole.”
