New MD for Financial Services Forum

The Financial Services Forum has appointed Mark Hayes-Newington as its new managing director.

This post has been held for the past four years by Andrew Porter, who will continue in a full-time role as vice chairman.

Hayes-Newington has held numerous senior roles in the financial services industry, including CEO at Taxbriefs, a provider of professional education services to the IFA market until 2010, and as a founder and commercial director at Defaqto until 2006.

Porter said: “Mark’s arrival will add significant strength to our team and allows us to develop the range of activities and services we provide our Members across all sectors of the financial services industry.””
