New low deals from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks

Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks have launched a range of new mortgages, including their best ever fixed rate five year mortgage deal.

The five year mortgage with a rate of 2.44% and a LTV of 85% is one of several new deals. The range also includes two first-time buyer mortgages both fixed for three years which come with £250 cashback.

There are also a number of re-mortgage rates fixed for two and five years.

Helen Page, propositions and marketing director, said: “There’s never been a better time to fix your mortgage for longer with us. Not only do these new rates provide customers with certainty of knowing exactly what your mortgage will cost each month, many come with no arrangement fee.

“In addition our mortgage advisers have same day appointments available so there’s no need to hang about to get the best deal on the market.”

The banks have also introduced a ‘recommend a friend’ offer for Clydesdale and Yorkshire bank current account or mortgage customers. Both the existing and the new customer earn £100 worth of shopping vouchers when the new customer draws down their mortgage.
