Investec has added a range of three and five-year fixed rates to its mortgages for qualified professionals requiring large loans.

New rates include the following:

  • 3-year fixed rates: 2.39% to 60% LTV; 2.69% to 75% LTV; 3.19% to 85% LTV
  • 5-year fixed rates: 2.69% to 60% LTV; 2.89% to 75% LTV; 3.49% to 85% LTV
  • Available for purchase, remortgage or capital raising
  • Overpayments allowed of up to 10% of the outstanding balance per year
  • Arrangement fee of £1,500 payable on completion
  • A reducing early redemption charge is payable during the term of the fix

The Investec Professional Mortgage is for qualified professionals earning over £75,000 per annum wanting to borrow between £250,000 and £1 million. Borrowers don’t need to bank with Investec or have assets under management to apply for a mortgage and the products are available via brokers throughout England and Wales.

Peter Izard (pictured), business development manager at Investec Private Bank, said: “We’re delighted to be able to further strengthen our mortgage proposition to qualified professionals, with the addition of these competitive three and five-year fixed rates.

“We understand the needs of borrowers seeking larger loans and our experienced underwriters, who individually assess every application, are able to take into consideration the more complex financial circumstances of higher earning borrowers.”
