New intermediary portal from the Saffron

Published on

Saffron For Intermediaries has launched its new Intermediary Mortgage Portal.
The dedicated broker channel of Saffron Building Society says its mortgage portal has been designed to enable brokers to select a Saffron mortgage product, request a DIP, submit a full mortgage application and monitor all their clients’ cases online and at any time of day or night.
The portal can be accessed via most web browsers including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
All supporting documents can be scanned and submitted online. Underwriters will still review applications.
Each screen includes all relevant instructions; there is a Quick Start Guide and if brokers have any remaining questions, they can speak to a Saffron representative.
Anita Arch, head of mortgage sales, said: “The Portal ticks all the boxes on brokers’ wish lists: it’s easy to use, fast, comprehensive and paperless.
“The feedback we’ve had from intermediaries who kindly helped us test the Portal has far exceeded our expectations and we believe it will make life significantly easier for brokers when sourcing and submitting mortgage applications on behalf of their clients.”
