New hire at Promise Solutions

Master broker Promise Solutions has appointed a new commercial manager to support the growth of its commercial department.

Marc Biddle (pictured), who joins with almost 20 years’ experience in the industry, will head up the department which specialises in all aspects of commercial finance including high street mortgages, specialist mortgages, bridging facilities, asset finance and invoice factoring, development loans and unsecured business finance.

Steve Walker, managing director of Promise Solutions, said: “Marc first worked for me at Purple Loans back in 1997 and has since gone on to work with some of the leading names in the banking industry. I am delighted to be working with him once again and look forward to seeing him use his expertise in commercial finance to further grow the commercial department.”

Biddle’s career has included roles at Barclays, Santander and Lloyds Banking Group. Most recently he was commercial finance specialist at a commercial brokerage.

He said: “I am really excited to work with Steve again. This is a hugely exciting time for commercial finance and I’m very much looking forward to using my skills and knowledge to make Promise as highly regarded for commercial finance as it is for second charge loans and specialist mortgages.”
