He joins TML having held senior HR positions at Royal Bank of Scotland and Airdrie Savings Bank.

Dow (pictured) said: “The Mortgage Lender is an ambitious business with exciting plans for sustained growth.

“At the heart of its growth are people and The Mortgage Lender’s commitment to continue to attract and retain the sector’s best talent through investment, training and daring to do things differently.

“I’ve followed the business since launch and recommended candidates to join the team. I couldn’t be happier to now be part of that journey.”

Peter Beaumont, deputy chief executive at The Mortgage Lender, added: “Our people are our most valued and valuable asset.

“Mark’s attitude and enthusiasm made him an obvious cultural fit for our team and the right person to ensure our recruitment and training practices continue to build on what TML has already achieved.”
