New deals and rate cuts from Barclays

Barclays is making changes to both the residential and buy-to-let product ranges with new products launching and rates reduced.

New products:

2 year fixed:

  • Introducing a new 1.50% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, available up to 80% LTV for loans from £5k to £2m for residential purchase and remortgage

5 year fixed:

  • Introducing a new 2.10% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, available up to 80% LTV for loans from £5k to £2m for residential purchase and remortgage

Reduced products:

1 year fixed:

  • 1.72% 1 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 75% LTV for loans from £5k to £2m for existing customers rate switching or doing a further advance – down 11bps

2 year fixed:

  • 1.63% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 60% LTV for loans from £5k to £250k for residential remortgage – down 10bps
  • 1.73% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 75% LTV for loans from £5k to £250k for residential remortgage – down 10bps
  • 1.73% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 75% LTV for loans from £5k to £250k for residential purchase – down 1bps
  • 1.93% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 85% LTV for loans from £5k to £250k for residential purchase – down 1bps
  • 1.93% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 85% LTV for loans from £5k to £250k for residential remortgage – down 6bps
  • 1.62% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 60% LTV for loans from £5k to £2m for existing customers rate switching or doing a further advance – down 11bps
  • 1.72% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, available up to 75% LTV for loans from £5k to £2m for existing customers rate switching or doing a further advance – down 11bps
