Crowdfunding platform Property Partner has recruited a new chief financial officer.

Warren Bath, former mergers and acquisitions director at Sky Plc, has been recruited as Property Partner aims to build a ‘global stock exchange’ for property. Bath, a chartered accountant, has also held senior positions at Morgan Stanley, Virgin Mobile UK and Vodafone Australia.

Property Partner enables investors to buy shares in tenanted residential properties across the UK. It also operates a secondary market on which investors can trade their property shares.

Daniel Gandesha, founder and CEO of Property Partner, said: “Warren is a top-flight financial operator with more than 20 years experience in UK and international finance. Having worked with Warren at Sky, I’m hugely excited by the contribution he can make in helping us achieve our immediate targets, as well as our longer-term ambition to become a global property stock exchange.”

Bath added: “I am delighted to be joining the leading property crowdfunding platform in the UK. I’m extremely impressed with the team and the momentum that Dan has built, as we enter a dynamic new phase of expansion.”
