New cashback offer from Halifax

Published on

Halifax has unveiled a £750 cashback offer to support first time buyers, home movers and remortgage customers who take out a qualifying mortgage with the Halifax until 2 January.

This new offer will also provide eligible mortgage borrowers with a dedicated mortgage adviser, while remortgage customer switching from their current provider to Halifax will have access to Halifax’s switcher service – also covering the basic legal fee and the property assessment costs for remortgagers.

Chris Gowland, mortgages director at Halifax, said: “Buying your first property or moving can be overwhelming as additional costs involved in that initial moving period to turn it your house into a ‘home’ can sometimes catch us off guard.

“Giving our customers a bit of extra cash to go towards those essentials can help alleviate some of the moving stress and help make it easier to celebrate this new milestone.”
