New BDM for bridging firm

Bridging Finance Solutions has expanded its business development team with the appointment of Sue Barron.

Barron (pictured) will manage the Midlands area for BFS, following a 30 year career with NatWest, most recently as business and commercial manager.

She said: “This is a huge leap for me but one that I’m incredibly positive about. I’ve worked in a huge corporate organisation for over three decades and so to be able to look at finance from a fresh angle ,with a different perspective, is really exciting.

“Through the years at NatWest, I’ve created some fantastic contacts amongst brokers and of course those that work in-house for the larger financial institutions. I see my role at BFS to educate those that I feel could benefit from bridging and ensure they understand how and when it could and should be used. Finance is no longer a one size fits all offering – there are alternative options available that can support a wider deal or transaction and people are becoming increasingly switched on to this.”

Steve Barber, managing director of Bridging Finance Solutions, added: “The appointment of Sue is a real coup for us. She is a well-respected figure in banking and has vast knowledge of the sector. We are aiming for geographical coverage in terms of business development at BFS in the coming two years and this latest development takes us a step further in achieving this.”
