New associate member for the ASTL

Published on

Law firm Moore Blatch has joined the Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) as an associate member.

It is the sixth new associate member to join this year and the second in as many weeks.

Moore Blatch specialises in corporate and commercial property, dispute resolution and private client services. The company has a specialist team of lawyers serving the lending industry who provide clients with an end-to-end solution including origination legal support, title rectification, repossession litigation, sales, shortfall debt recovery (SDR) and professional negligence work.

Benson Hersch, chief executive of the ASTL, said: “The team at Moore Blatch are industry professionals who are well informed about the bridging industry and the pressures it faces. Its specialist expertise in the industry should certainly add value to the members of ASTL. The firm’s membership will also add to the diversity to the ASTL continuing to ensure it is such a thriving trade body.

“The increase in quality new associate members contributes to our aim to continue to add value to our members while raising the standards of the bridging industry.”

Rob Evans, a partner at Moore Blatch, said: “Our clients value our pragmatic and commercially focused advice that helps to secure them appropriate compensation for their financial loss. Having worked on over 2,000 cases for lenders since 2004, we have vast practical experience in dealing with portfolios relating to residential property, commercial property, bridging loans or other forms of secured finance.

“There is much more that we can do for the bridging industry through this newfound partnership with the ASTL and its members.”
