New associate member for the ASTL

CG Recovery has joined the Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) as an associate member.

The business recovery and turnaround specialist is the second associate member to join the ASTL since the beginning of the year, alongside three full members. The ASTL’s membership now consists of 34 members and 24 associate members.

CG Recovery’s insolvency practitioners and specialists in business turnaround and business liquidation have over 80 years of industry experience.  The group offers insolvency advice on a range of issues including business recovery, wrongful trading, cash flow problems, insolvent and solvent liquidation and HMRC arrears.  It also deals in receivership, restructuring and members’ voluntary liquidation; a way of closing a company that is still solvent.

Edward Gee, director at CG Recovery, said: “The ASTL has a strong and growing reputation in the sector and we are pleased to say we have joined as an associate member.  We now look forward to building valuable, working relationships with an array of members and associate members, and sharing our ideas and market knowledge with them.”

Benson Hersch, CEO of the ASTL, added: “The growing diversity of the membership allows us to promote and protect the interests of our members while making sure the highest standards are achieved.

“CG Recovery adheres to the same standards that the association operates by and, by putting forward its new ideas, knowledge and experience, I am sure it will make a valuable contribution to the ASTL.”
