Shawbrook Bank has added two new brokerages to its Strategic Partner programme and expanded existing Partners’ product ranges.

Commercial broker Commercial Expert has been awarded Strategic Partner status, along with lending packager, Intelligent Loans.

Both are Strategic Partners in investment loans under £750,000, trading business loans and short term loans.

In addition, Newsource is now a Strategic Partner on larger loans, in addition to smaller investment products and trading business loans.

3MC is now a Strategic Partner on larger loans, in addition to smaller investment products and trading business loans, while ATOM is a Strategic Partner on short term loans, in addition to loans for trading businesses and investment products under £750,000.

There are now 32 Strategic Partners in Shawbrook’s programme.

Karen Bennett, director of sales and marketing, commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, said: “We’re very pleased to see the growth in our Strategic Partner programme and specifically welcome the newest additions.

“This scheme was put in place over a year ago to recognise the reduced costs of working with certain broker partners whose business converts at a higher standard and who submit consistent business levels.”

Michael Coates, managing director of Commercial Expert, said: “We’re based in the North East of England and are really proud of the work we do up here – we work hard to find a solution for all our clients. There aren’t many lenders who work in the area so we value the personal relationship we have with Shawbrook and it’s really gratifying to have been awarded Strategic Partner status, which is critical to our expansion plans.

“Working with Shawbrook is a genuine partnership and helps us get even better deals for our clients.”

Adrian Rawle, head of commercial, Intelligent Loans, added: “We’re delighted to have been awarded Strategic Partner status so quickly. It’s great to be able to offer Shawbrook’s range of innovative products to our introducers across the UK. We appreciate how simple Shawbrook makes it for us – the process is clear from application to completion. Their offering complements that of our existing providers of commercial finance and we look forward to a strong end to 2013 working with Shawbrook.”
