Yorkshire Building Society has launched a two-year fixed rate mortgage at 2.84% as part of wider mortgage rate cuts.

Rates on all 75% LTV mortgages are being lowered by up to 0.45 percentage points.

Reductions are being made to a range of two, three and five year fixed and tracker products, with headline products including a two-year fixed rate mortgage at 2.84% and a three-year fixed rate mortgage at 3.04%.

“As a mutual our focus is on delivering good value products alongside excellent customer service,” said Jemma Smith, Yorkshire Building Society mortgage product manager.

“We believe these products show our commitment to helping home buyers as well as those who are looking to remortgage.

“We have made cuts at all term lengths so customers who want to fix their mortgage repayments for a number of years have a selection of products to choose from.”
