New 1.99% fix from the Yorkshire

Published on

The Yorkshire Building Society has launched a three-year fixed rate at 1.99% with a £345 product fee and £500 cashback on completion.

The mortgage, available at 65% loan-to-value (LTV) – complements the existing range, which includes the Society’s lowest ever two-year fixed rate mortgage at 1.18%, with a £1,369 fee, also available to borrowers with a 35% deposit.

Also new is a three-year fixed-rate at 2.24% at 75% LTV which also has a £345 product fee and £500 cashback.

Brendan Gilligan, mortgage product manager for Yorkshire Building Society, said: “As a financially strong mutual which can focus fully on giving value to its members because it has no external shareholders, we are able to offer our members very competitive deals in order to help them own their dream home.

“We hope that these three-year fixed rate deals will appeal to customers who would like a competitive rate as well as the security of knowing what their mortgage repayments will be for the next 36 months.”
