Network pair adopt SmartrCriteria

Published on

Mortgage networks, HLPartnership and Mortgage Support Network, have revealed that their members will have free access to new online mortgage sourcing service, SmartrCriteria.

SmartrCriteria, developed by Legal and General Mortgage Club, is designed to help users find the right lender for their customers, particularly where cases are complex and do not fit standard type criteria.

The new service is based on the many hundreds of enquiries received by the L&G Mortgage Club’s telephone based mortgage helpdesk every week and distilled into a database of criteria that can be interrogated by advisers on any device.

Neil Hoare (pictured), HLP and MSN’s commercial director, said the adoption of SmartrCriteria is the next stage in the evolution of the technology package for members.

He said: “As leading mortgage networks, we aim to provide our members with the ‘best of breed’ tools they need to help give their customers the best advice in the market.

“SmartrCriteria offers a facility which, when used in conjunction with our Twenty7Tec sourcing system, makes it easy to interrogate the mass of data collected by L&G Mortgage Club in the specialist lending space, enabling a quicker and more accurate evaluation of potential lenders to fit customers’ requirements.

“We have invested time and expertise in helping to develop Smart Criteria’s search engine, and I am sure it will have a positive impact on our members’ business efficiency, which in turn will help to improve customer outcomes.

“I don’t know another network group which works so closely with its business partners to help its members become more efficient, meet more customer needs and offers a holistic support package that is second to none.”
