NatWest makes residential and buy-to-let rate changes

NatWest has introduced rate changes on selected core and semi-exclusive residential products and buy-to-let deals.

Changes are as follows:

New Business:

Intermediary Exclusives

  • Purchase: Rate reductions of up to 10bps on 2 & 5 year 60-85% LTV products
  • Remortgage: Rate reductions of up to 15bps on 2 & 5 year 60-85% LTV products
  • Buy-to-let: Rate reductions of up to 15bps on 2 & 5 year 60-75% LTV products

Core Range

  • Purchase: Rate reductions of up to 10bps on 2 & 5 year 60-85% LTV products
  • Remortgage: Rate reductions of up to 10bps on 2 & 5 year 60-85% LTV products
  • Buy-to-let: Rate reductions of up to 10bps on 2 & 5 year 60-75% LTV products

Existing Customers:

Core Range

  • Switcher: Rate reductions of up to 10bps on 2 & 5 year 60-100% LTV products
  • Buy-to-let Switcher: Rate reductions of up to 15bps on 2 & 5 year 60-90% LTV products

Mark Bullard, head of sales, said: “I’m pleased that we’re demonstrating our appetite to lend by making further rate reductions across a wide variety of products and LTV bandings.

“We have also taken this opportunity to make rate reductions in our buy-to-let portfolio, which comes quickly on the back of our recent positive changes to our buy-to-let calculator.”
