NatWest Intermediary Solutions has reduced the rates on some of its two-year fixed rate, 60% LTV, purchase mortgages and remortgages in both its Main Bank and Core ranges.

The Main Bank range deals offer £250 cashback and are available where at least one mortgage applicant has an active NatWest or RBS current account into which at least £1,000 has been paid each month for the last three months.

The rate changes to the Main Bank range are:

  • Two-year fixed rate with £250 cashback, purchase and remortgage, is reducing from 2.79% to 2.49% (APR 4.0% purchase/3.9% remortgage, SVR 4.0%), 60% LTV, with the product fee increasing from £995 to £1,495.
  • Two-year fixed rate with £250 cashback, purchase and remortgage, is reducing from 3.29% to 3.19% (APR 4.0%/3.9%, SVR 4.0%), 60% LTV, with no product fee

The rate changes to the Core range are:

  • Two-year fixed rate, purchase and remortgage, is reducing from 2.79% to 2.49% (APR 4.0% purchase/4.0% remortgage, SVR 4.0%), 60% LTV, with the product fee increasing from £995 to £1,495.
  • Two-year fixed rate purchase and remortgage, is reducing from 3.29% to 3.19% (APR 4/0%/3.9%, SVR 4.0%), 60% LTV, with no product fee

“I am very pleased that we have been able to improve the rates on some of our more popular mortgages,” said Mark Bullard, head of sales, NatWest Intermediary Solutions.

“We have one of the broadest mortgage portfolios supporting the intermediary sector that not only offers great choice, but also added benefits such as cashback, higher LTVs or the option for interest only to those applicants that already have a banking relationship with NatWest or RBS through our Main Bank and Current Account ranges.”
