Nationwide gets IIP Gold Standard for the second time

Nationwide Building Society has again been awarded the highest accolade possible from Investors in People (IIP).

The mutual received the Gold Standard for the second time with a score of 98.9% for its people, communication, training and development policies.

IIP works with around 60,000 organisations across the UK. Under 0.5% have achieved the Gold Standard and Nationwide is the only retail financial services organisation to do so.

Graeme Hughes, Nationwide’s HR and corporate affairs director, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded IIP’s Gold Standard. At Nationwide we are committed to the development and success of our employees.
