Nationwide appoints intermediary corporate account chief

Nationwide Building Society has appointed Gary Salter as head of corporate accounts for Group Intermediary Sales (GIS).

His appointment will take effect from 1st July 2012. He will report to Ian Andrew, managing director, Nationwide Group Intermediary Sales.

Salter joined Nationwide at the launch of Nationwide for Intermediaries (NFI) in 2008 and has been regional sales manager for the South East during this time.

Matthew Wyles, group distribution director, Nationwide, said: “Gary Salter was appointed after an exhaustive selection process with competition from a strong field of internal and external candidates.
