National account hires for network

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has appointed Aidan McCarthy and Philip Emanuel as national account managers.

They are tasked with helping to grow the network’s membership and also build its directly authorised (DA) proposition.

McCarthy joins after being an account manager at Friends Life for over seven years. He also previously worked at CIS and West Bromwich Building Society.

He said: “This is a really exciting time for me, The Right Mortgage and Protection offers a fantastic proposition for brokers and is committed to supporting AR businesses. It will be an exciting challenge and one that I am very much looking forward to.”

Emanuel joins the team after a long career in the industry having previously held similar roles with AMP Pearl Assurance, Lifetime Financial Management and Personal Touch FS.

He said: “When the opportunity to join The Right Mortgage & Protection Network came about it was an easy decision to say yes. It is a young vibrant company which has invented a proposition which is clearly popular with advisers. It provides a service which is real value for money whilst operating a supportive approach to compliance. All this and the opportunity to once again work with Martin Wilson who we all know has a reputation for creating an environment where quality salespeople can thrive.

“I am looking forward to the challenge of spreading the word about The Right Mortgage proposition but I must say that my first impressions are that it does have the feel of something very special.”

Martin Wilson, CEO of The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, added: “We are delighted to bring Aidan and Philip on board and add to an already strong national account manager team. Aidan and Phil have the skills and experience necessary to help the network grow and we are confident that we will achieve our target of 300 members by the end of 2016.”
