Mutual quintet launch Leicestershire Lenders Live Event

Published on

Five Leicestershire-based building societies have joined forces to launch the inaugural Leicestershire Lenders Live Event.

The event will take place at Leicestershire County Cricket Club on Wednesday 1 November and will be hosted by the region’s ‘five foxes’ – The Loughborough Building Society, Hinckley & Rugby Building Society, Melton Building Society, Earl Shilton Building Society and Market Harborough Building Society.

This is an intermediary-focused event which will provide broker attendees with insights from each individual society and as a collective. Lender representatives will focus on the history of the building society, their impact on the local community, their differing lending approaches and, crucially, how they can help brokers to grow their business and meet more of their clients ever-shifting needs.

The day will include a live panel debate featuring the CEOs of the five building societies and presentations from their BDMs on some of the more specialist lending solutions they provide.

Product areas covered will include Family Deposit Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor (JBSP), Buying for University, Bridging Finance, Holiday Lets, Self-Build, Adverse Credit, Lending in Later Life, Income Flex and Mortgage Referral Committee.

The CEOs in attendance will be:

  • Gary Brebner, CEO at The Loughborough Building Society
  • Colin Fyfe, CEO at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society
  • Simon Taylor, CEO at Melton Building Society
  • Paul Tilley, CEO at Earl Shilton Building Society
  • Iain Kirkpatrick, CEO at Market Harborough Building Society
