MPowered Mortgages creates digital broker community

Published on

MPowered Mortgages has launched a dedicated broker community platform, hosted on its website.

The aim is for the community to provide a forum for brokers to communicate and stay connected with each other, engage in live debates and discuss and share views on all mortgage related topics and issues such as mortgage rates, criteria and service levels as well as the news agenda.

The platform will also host in-person regional events that brokers can attend on key topics impacting their daily business, such as the impact of rate and criteria changes and discussions around the future of mortgage advice.

KNOW YOUR BDM

The events will provide an opportunity for brokers who are securing mortgages digitally through MPowered to get to know their BDMs in person.

Last year, MPowered Mortgages launched CriteriaGPT, a chatbot which uses ChatGPT technology to answer complex criteria queries about MPowered’s residential lending criteria without the need for human intervention.

Stuart Cheetham, CEO of MPowered Mortgages, said: “We are delighted to be the first lender to launch a broker community of this kind that will allow for free-flowing information exchange between brokers.

“We believe this new tool will go some way to help brokers get answers quickly through knowledge sharing”

“As a broker-only lender, we are focused on using the cutting edge of AI and technology to find ways of supporting brokers and addressing the challenges that brokers in our industry face today.

“We believe this new tool will go some way to help brokers get answers quickly through knowledge sharing and staying on top of the latest developments in the industry.”

Liyyanah El-aidouni, transformation lead at MPowered Mortgages, added: “When we had the idea to develop this community we initially envisaged it being a bit like Reddit but for brokers exclusively. A way for brokers to share their views and a place for mortgage brokers to learn and share through browsing discussions.

“You can even use icons to like or love comments which makes it even more engaging for users. Why not sign up now and experience it for yourself.”
