MPowered Mortgages appoints sales director

MPowered Mortgages has promoted Matt Surridge to sales director, following the departure of Emma Hollingworth, its managing director, mortgages.

Surridge (pictured) has been at MPowered Mortgages for over two years and was previously a key account manager for the firm. He has 20 years of experience working with brokers in business development roles within the mortgage industry at firms such as Mortgage Brain, Countrywide and Lloyds Banking Group.

Surridge will be responsible for heading up the sales team across all regions in the UK, both supporting existing, and developing new, broker relationships.

Hollingworth is leaving the firm to embark on a new role.
