MPowered Mortgages has announced the promotion of Simon Clark to key account manager (KAM) for the South.

Clark (pictured) has over 11 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having joined MPowered Mortgages in 2020. He has progressed from broker support to key account manager for the South in just over two years.

As key account manager for the South, he will be responsible for growing business in parts of Hertfordshire, Essex, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Greater London.

Emma Hollingworth, managing director of mortgages at MPowered Mortgages, said: “Simon has gone from strength to strength on the MPowered team and is fully deserving of this promotion. At MPowered Mortgages we have a strong culture which is very focused on career development. As our business grows and proposition strengthens we will continue to grow existing talent and attract new talent.

“We look forward to expanding our presence in the South and bringing our range of prime residential mortgages to more borrowers, whilst supporting brokers with our AI-powered technology for a smoother mortgage process.”

Clark added: “It has been an exciting and fulfilling two years at MPowered, and I’m excited for the next step of my time here.

“The role of key account manager across one of the busiest regions in the country is an exciting challenge, and I look forward to bringing MPowered’s prime residential range to more homebuyers and remortgagers here in the South.”
