Move with Us has improved its whitehot property website.

The changes are designed to help buyers search and track public notice properties online that have traditionally been difficult to find.

A public notice period is the name given to the time that elapses between an offer being made on a property and the point at which contracts are exchanged. Traditionally properties are taken off the market once an offer has been accepted but if a lender or an estate beneficiary is selling it then they may choose to use public notices to get the highest price possible for the property.

By using public notices each buyer is given the best chance to locate and offer on a public notice property and the seller gets the fairest price. The new online portal allows potential homebuyers to look for public notice properties in one place, as being able to monitor properties, receive email alerts and make an offer up until the end of the public notice period.

Each public notice property on the website lists the time remaining on the public notice, displays the highest offer and provides user friendly functionality making it easy for buyers to put an offer on their chosen property.

Robin King, director at Move with Us, said: “Until now, there has been no way to track public notice properties online so we’ve bought the process into the 21st century. The new site will help potential buyers find properties that are under a public notice offer and monitor them with ease.

“We’ve come a long way from scouring the local newspapers for public notice properties and this will make finding them a lot easier and much less time consuming for potential buyers by streamlining the process.”
