Organisers of the Mortgage Vision events held during October and November say they saw a 47% rise in broker attendance.

This means they set a new record in overall attendance in the event’s four year history.

Almost 700 mortgage brokers attended one of the eight events organised by Mortgage Brain, Nationwide and Virgin Money, with 96% of attendees rating them as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’ and 98% saying they would recommend them to their peers.

Designed to give intermediaries a strategic insight into the future of the UK mortgage market, the events featured views and round table discussions from headline speakers – Mortgage Brain, Nationwide and Virgin Money – as well as Aldermore Bank, IFA Conveyancing, Santander for Intermediaries, Bright Grey, Source and Fluent Money.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the tremendous success of the Mortgage Vision events this year. The feedback and support we’ve received has made it very clear that they offer a winning formula for brokers wanting to get a better understanding of the future of the UK mortgage market.

“Now in their fourth year, the Mortgage Vision events have gone from strength to strength and are considered to be one of the best and most informative mortgage events of the year.”
