Mortgage industry gears up for Take Me Home 25 Christmas Charity Concert

Published on

Support continues to build for what is shaping up to be the mortgage industry’s biggest charitable event of the year as three more major firms throw their backing behind the Take Me Home Christmas Charity Concert.

The event – the brainchild of Kevin Duffy, managing director of Mortgageforce UK – will take place on 26 November in the City of London and is already close to selling out.

With ticket demand soaring, the concert promises to bring together the industry in a festive celebration while raising vital funds for homelessness charity EveryYouth supporting young people across the UK.

Another trio of industry heavyweights – Brightstar Group, Twenty7tec, and Skipton for Intermediaries – have added their support, injecting even more star power into the fundraiser.

PLAYING A PART

Rob Jupp (main picture, inset bottom left), CEO of The Brightstar Group, said: “We are delighted to be supporting this event organised by Mortgageforce UK – helping to play our part in tackling homelessness amongst young people across the UK.

“We are looking forward to another night where the industry comes together as one to support such a vital charitable effort.”

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY

Adam Newman (main picture, inset, right), head of sales at Twenty7tec, added: “Whilst as a technology business, Twenty7tec has never been in a position to directly support the everyday person with their living situation, we have always been acutely aware of the role and responsibility that our technology plays in helping advisers guide those people that need it.

“With this in mind, we felt the Take Me Home 25 event gave us a unique opportunity to get behind the industry from a slightly different perspective, as it continues to help with this challenge by raising money for some fantastic charities.”

And Alison Heaven, senior intermediary manager at Skipton, said: “We’re proud to stand alongside our peers in the mortgage industry this festive season to support such a vital cause.”

Kevin Duffy, managing director at Mortgageforce UK, said: “It’s incredible to see the industry rallying together for Take Me Home 25.

“This event shows what we can achieve when we unite behind a cause, and this year, with support from so many leading firms, we hope to make a real difference for young people facing homelessness. We’re not just celebrating the festive season – we’re helping to change lives.”

LASTING IMPACT

Tickets are selling fast for 26 November and are now ALMOST SOLD OUT.

The evening promises a mix of live entertainment festive cheer, and the chance for the mortgage community to make a lasting impact.

With Take Me Home 25, the sector is proving that it can combine business, celebration, and charity in one unforgettable night.

UNITED EFFORTS

The event follows the success of the Ukraine Aid concert in 2022 which brought together the mortgage industry to raise tens of thousands of pounds in humanitarian support.

Beyond the music, the evening will also be a powerful networking opportunity for the sector.

Last year, nearly 136,000 young people in the UK sought help from their local council due to homelessness.

Funds raised will provide direct support and prevention programmes in London and nationwide.
